Monali Garg

Monali is a mother to 2 unschooling children. She believes she is a life-long learner and she learns best by doing. 

She is an active member of a homeschooling/unschooling community in Mumbai called “The Tribe”. She has also started a community initiative called “Pehchaan”. It works on the principle: “It takes a village to raise a child”.  It is a space to share ideas, thoughts and skills around parenting practices. 

Another initiative of hers is “Hamare Vichaar”, a bi-weekly sharing circle to discuss experiences and thoughts on a particular theme. 

She believes in a minimalistic and sustainanble approach to life. She has created a community if like-minded people, where everyone can exchange skills and resources, similar to the barter system approach.
